Submitting fraudulent permit reimbursement claims to Tag Chaser will result in permanent account ban and legal action.

Tag Chaser will only reimburse a successful applicant's tag fees for the coverage they selected/paid for. It is the applicant's responsibility to make sure they have chosen the correct species and coverage amount.

Permit reimbursement claims must be submitted no later than August 1st of the coverage application year. The only exceptions will be for individuals who receive a returned tag in which case they must submit a reimbursement claim before the opening day of their hunt. In those cases additional verification will be needed in the form of an email from the UDWR stating you received a returned tag.

NO REFUNDS. All payments made to Tag Chaser for permit coverage services and associated fees are non-refundable except under the following circumstances which would be reviewed on a case by case basis and not guaranteed.

Military Deployment (A copy of the Military orders would be required)

Illness or Injury (The Applicant must provide proof of illness or injury from a licensed MD, DO, or PA on office letterhead with a statement from the medical provider on the nature of the illness and why it would keep you from hunting.)

Death (A copy of the deceased’s certified death certificate must be provided) In any case, claims must be submitted by July 15th of the coverage application year.

Tag Chaser coverage is a fee reimbursement program for applicants successful in the Utah Public Big Game draw. It is not a hunting permit and in no way guarantees the applicant a hunting permit in the State of Utah. Tag Chaser is not associated with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources or any other State entity.
