Frequently Asked Questions
How does Tag Chaser coverage work?
Simple, you fill out the application and pay the small fee. If you draw your permit then Tag Chaser reimburses you the permit fee that you were charged by the State of Utah. No strings attached.
How much are the fees for Tag Chaser coverage?
The fees for the majority of our services are between 5-15% of the permit fee depending on species and resident status. In other words, if you feel you will draw your permit in the next 10-20 years, then you have nothing to lose.
How does Tag Chaser pay for my permit fees?
You will provide banking information to TagChaser and once your successful draw has been verified we will deposit the amount of your permit fee into your bank account to reimburse you for the money the UDWR took upon your successful draw.
Will Tag Chaser actually pay my tag fee if I draw?
Yes, in the guidelines of good business practice, Tag Chaser has secured privately held financial backing. In other words, you can be sure that if you have paid for our services, and you draw, we'll come through with the money no matter what.
How does Tag Chaser verify my draw results?
Once you receive your draw results via email from the UDWR you will need to forward that email to successful@tagchaser.com. We will take it from there. Fee reimbursement may take up to 30 days.
Which species/draws does Tag Chaser offer their services for?
TagChaser offers its services for all Big Game Limited Entry and Once in a lifetime hunts in Utah for both residents and non-residents. Tag Chaser also offers its services for the Utah Limited Entry black bear hunt for residents and non-residents, and the Utah Sportsman Tag draw.
What States can I get Tag Chaser coverage in?
Currently TagChaser only offers services in Utah. We are working on expanding to other states in the future.
